Imetric is a leading company in the field of industrial metrology. It has been in business for over 20 years with extraordinary successes in the field of motoring, naval, aerospace and, since 2008, in the dental sector where it was immediately recognized as an excellent scanning solutions provider. Imetric scanners of the “i” range (Implant) have been used for majority of implant superstructures produced with CADCAM technology worldwide. Now this technology is available at an affordable price for every dental laboratory! TecnoScan PRO integrates the latest technologies to obtain a fast scan with high resolution and maximum precision.

Digital workflow

Milling machines

Towards the dental laboratory 4.0 Digital technology breaks new ground and brings new possibilities, which can be exploited only if the dental technician is able to play his new role. The dental laboratory sector, which has always been associated with manual ability and skills of the single technicians, is undergoing a total change in recent years, thanks to the new digital technologies. Digitalisation, virtualisation and CAD/CAM systems are the new instruments, and the new language of the dental technician. At the start of this fourth industrial revolution, great opportunities can be seized for those who can perceive and manage the change.   Download the catalogue The opportunities offered by digital technologies Technology neither creates, nor destroys professionalism. It adds value to it. First of all, it is important to understand that the digital age adds great value to the role of the dental technician, who is not a mere user of preset systems, but an autonomous operator specialised in the use of digital tools.

Sintering furnaces

Ideal for small labs to large milling centers

Tecno Sint
Sintering furnace for latest generation zirconia

Tecno Sint TecnoSint is the compact furnace for sintering zirconia and is a device that fully meets the most varied  requirements, not only in terms of economic efficiency and reliability, but above all as with respect to sintering quality of modern materials. Ideal for zirconia and innovative materials: TecnoSint is the compact furnace for sintering zirconia and is a device that fully meets the most varied requirements, not only in terms of economic efficiency and reliability, but above all with respect to sintering quality of modern materials.   TecnoSint: the optimal mix of price and high quality. TecnoSint furnace is an ideal addition to smaller CAD / CAM systems or larger laboratories and milling centers.   Operational flow optimization: The capacity of the sintering tray equals to Ø = 100 mms and can contain up to 20 elements; the 9 sintering programs can be easily inserted and stored in the furnace panel, moreover each program contains 4 steps for optimal sintering control.

Pressure vacuum casting machines

Casting methods: The usual casting methods are: flame casting induction casting vacuum pressure die-casting Flame casting Flame casting is the most traditional casting method and it is probably the most common and less expensive one. This method has been useful to develop casting techniques but it does not fit well with the legal and technical requirements of present-day market. This technique is based solely on the operator’s competence and skill: use of this technique requires ability to control the flame, a good knowledge of metalworking as well as sensitivity and operation carefulness.Although it is true that many operators are true masters of this technique we think that this technique will not guarantee reproducibility and a constant quality level. And if a process, such as this, is completely based on the operator’s skill and competence it is not a flexible process, and flexibility is an essential requirement for modern dental technician laboratories.

Sandblasters

Introduction: The sandblaster is one of the most used instruments in the dental laboratory and this is why it is among the primary pieces of equipment on which every operator should carefully invest. The main features of a modern sandblaster are: ergonomics, effi ciency, operating versatility and compliance with regulations. It is important to opt for models that are rich in accessories, safety devices and cutting edge solutions, in order to guarantee good operativeness, easy working, com- pliance with current regulations, personal protection and protection of co-workers. Check your sandblaster and assess whether it meets all the safety requirements. Does your sandblaster have a fume and dust extraction system? Does your sandblaster have a safety system that permits sand to be sprayed only with the door hermetically closed? Check its declaration of conformity and CE marking. Safety and compliance with the regulations are important factors as regards both personal and legal aspects.
